Moby - One of these Days
"...pray the Lord my soul to keep..."
I thought of that tonight as to what the meaning is trying to tell me. Do I wake up wondering will I be gone in the morning? Will I be dead? Or will I find myself lingering in purgatory of where I will be. Life is short as the cliche clearly says but never should we fall or fail in the tides of despair. We must look to stand up with both feet and walk among the waves. Hell, even if it means to walk on top of it is to know that we're going to be overcoming these days.
Life is too short indeed and when we go to bed at night it becomes shortest as it is a no struggle in our mind and soul to lay in rest. Some close their eyes and occasionally we come across one whose eyes are wide awake but they do sleep you know? The mind is a complex machination. We are the ones who grease to make sure the oils are working to wheel in and around the world of what it is capable of. That is to say, "testing the potential", as one would say it that way.
The soul is such an interesting unit of our body. We exist so does it but does it know we exist in every essence that we are living today? Life is short but the soul says to live long and be a part of something big. That is what we call inspiration, it never expires in fact it aspires us to bigger heights which even our fear of it has nothing to do with it...
However, I shall regress with this topic for another night as we go back to the hyperlink or the account of the video that is going to be played should you choose to listen to it. "Life is too short, love the ones you have now and never forget about them because you never know when they will walk out of your life as they could easily have come and gone."
Love is so different in every aspect, degree and even the rationale behind it is beyond any scope there is to bear. First time you fall in love you look into their eyes and as you try to go into their hearts they easily shut you down. However you pursue and the next thing love turns to lust as it turns into animosity and hate at a later part of our life. Second time you fall, you don't look at their eyes instead you look for the pockets if they have running deep or shallow. It's a long con, one too often not taken too seriously in one party or another. Although, you find forgiveness to a degree it is hard to carry that within your shoulder. Third time you fall it's just between tossing a coin. Heads they know their minds will be the suitable partner you have in the crimes you may or will be committing in this love you two decide to build your foundation on. Tails, well, go back to the drawing board.
The aspects are different but they somehow they connect you to your love. It was written in stone somewhere in the skies, however should it stop in orbit the impact made by the same stone could crash people's lives forever meteorically speaking. The degrees of connection to separation is one but too many distinctions out there to learn. From connecting in the smallest piece to the biggest piece is one we must not take too lightly. Finally, the rationale of what love is defined in the sense that is summed in the dictionaries or thesauri we read not religiously but enough to know that other words exist because of it.
However, what happens when we wake up and see that it's no longer there. Your love? Do we vanish also? Do we just keep kissing the ground? NO...I think.
We don't vanish for sure as we stand to live another day. We stand to appearance today but it's not because we have to rather we live it up for the sake that we are going to. We stand to challenge what is in hand for us. Love doesn't vanish it just simply means we're going to have to find it. Kissing the ground is for the fact we know we are alive, we are standing in firm ground with the love of our life. Short as it seems or long we make the best of it by looking up, kissing the rain instead. It's tastier and much refreshing to drink the water in our life than take no sip whatsoever. This is love. We have to wake up, walk, and take a chance in some way. This is one way of defining love.
