The Conversation (Time) (Poem)

So let's talk shall we...
I'll say, "Hi"
and you'll say "Hello,"
We'll talk about how the day was going,
At the same time point out the obvious.
There's nothing wrong pointing out what it is,
It is what we do best.
We point out the blunt and the stagnant.
The stale version of our eyes are only telling us
"Are we dense?"
"Can't we talk about something else?"

We don't ask what we did last night or
what we did two days ago.
That matter was left to yesterday's hands.
Today's hands are only held by ours because we hold it.
There's no point into asking future's hands,
We are already experiencing this moment.

but remember there's a criminal at large in our chats.

Its name is Time.
It somehow has wanted posters but never claiming whether
it is alive or not.
However it is charged with: robbery, murder, and grand theft auto.
It stole the moment we met since we've met only a minute ago.
It killed the idea of where should we head into this discussion,
there was no time left after we walked away. We were busy again.
Can't we just stop by again and see each other?
It is always moving faster never stopping and our hearts are
accomplices because it's keeping us breathing.

However, time can be caught like every criminal...
but is it worth the catch to begin with?
After all it'll confess that we were already an accomplice ourselves also
It tells us that we shouldn't have been born.
However, we tell it to the jury it's not our call.
We were brought out to the world to realize that we were to meet.
We tell the jury to plea guilty because we didn't know that we
were supposed to meet but now we're here talking to each other.

In the end...
we realized that we should've let it be free.
We are after all living under circumstances...
Circumstances where we always make our decisions.
Some decisions in these talks that we made were happy.
Though negativity shouldn't flow out of your mouth.
Let your talks be as good as the smile that you make,
That face always leaves the impression that you must smile.
A smile as a picture can have a thousand words but your smile
alone is defined as priceless and one word at this moment-irreplaceable.

A kiss can be done but at this point let this be our first time of our conversation.
There's no need for the formality besides it is only the informality of how we met.
If a kiss is what you need, then let's but let's make it short-people are watching.

So I'll say the words,
"I will see you later," but never "Goodbye."
"Goodbyes" always mean "See you on the other side."
So I want you to say, "I'll see you later,"
and then I'll say again, "Yeah a tomorrow's always a few steps away.
